Well, after lots of messing around and A/B testing with several preamps and the Helix I am still blown away by just how good the Tone Hammer is. And when plugged in to FOH with the AGS engaged it is difficult to beat!
It is easy to see why it is still 1st choice for so many pro players out there

Listening to the usage of the EHX BMS in a worship setting it feels quite limited in terms of the features that are actually used.

I know that there's a lot of using what others use but why isn't a more simple pedal that can give the square wave and octaves such as the EQD Bit Commander more popular? Smaller, cheaper, simpler

I have a huge amount of respect for him as a musician and a bass player though. He really is incredible.
