I have the Kilt V2 that can act as a fuzz when both switches are up but it is very heavy. I haven't used that sound in church yet, kind of afraid to. 😂😂

I have my eye on the Big Booty Judy for now. Every video I've seen on that one is pretty amazing.

Just picked up a Big Booty Judy last week and it rips!

Just picked up one of the Lollar Fuzzes from Reverb. Think it should be a pretty awesome combo.

Having that background as a drummer (and a GREAT one at that!) is clutch. Your innate, strong sense of rhythm just makes you all the better a musician on guitar and bass. I'm glad to hear your enjoying it :)

Interesting that you should say that. I did Free by SEU Worship in a conference recently. Their bass player uses a BMS on the song with a DCX bass. But i couldn't get the same sound from my BMS. Ended up using a Subsonic with the Doom2 and it sounded pretty good.

My board this morning. Would likely be taking a di out from the tone hammer instead of element moving forward. Not enough time to work it out, and maybe just doesn't fit in a small church/small sound system setup with no dedicated sound guy. Great piece of kit for practicing tho!

Some nice stuff. I loved the element I had and always wanted to give it a shot on Sunday but not as much as I wanted the next thing lol.

One day will try the Octabvre

It's worth giving it a shot! I think IR makes drives so much better. I have an element as well. I primarily use the Darkglass Infinity, but the Element is such a good tool. Especially the power amp. I wouldn't use the power amp past 9 o'clock. Drop in some Celestion IRs and you won't go back.

I would generally agree with the sentiment but with the TH I actually preferred to go direct than through an IR.

Hi,
I need your help. I do like to create a drone sound on bass.
Most of the time when someone goes on stage and want something to say, the complete band falls away :)
I want to have a bass sound like a drone.
I think something with sustain, delay maybe synth sound.

Also I want to use it at soft worship songs to bring up a little bass ambient.
Any suggestions?

Building on @TaySte_2000's suggestion of a Freeze and @NickyBass's suggestion of time-based effects, I'll add that you could use something like the Meris Enzo X (or LVX or MercuryX depending on what you want as the basis of the patch: synth, delay, or reverb).

You could also run a signal chain like: suboctave → low-gain fuzz → filter → modulation (chorus, phaser, flanger, or tremolo) → reverb, possibly with a freeze or something like a Chase Bliss Mood MKII or Lossy in there.

It depends if you want a continuous infinite drone (Freeze or Infinite Sustainer) or for it to fade out (Reverb). If you have a reverb with long decay, you might not want it for the entire song or else it will muddy things up. Either way you would want to activate it only when you need it during the song.
