Not an emergency, but these Sires are rarely this light.The contrasting grain patterns make for an arguably attractive look. But, I’m not in love. Seems like you aren’t either, in which case I’d wait for the right one to come up (weight and looks).
Unless maybe you’re facing some kind of bass-buying emergency?
Right, and that's the challenge. There is this one, with much more evenly matched grain between the pieces, but it's maybe too bland:You don't get great matches with lower end instruments - and some higher ones too! I'd keep looking for a more attractive tive one but wouldn't get my hopes up.
My Yamaha BB234 is pretty nice looking for a base model in the BB lineup...
Well, it actually looks kinda cool in a way. It’s growing on me.
