By the way, she doesn't sing live. Like most singers who do an acrobatic stage show, she lip synchs. If I want to listen to a recording, I'll pop in a cd or listen on my Ipod. However, Pink is not currently and will never be anything that I will listen to.
She is, IMO, one of the best vocalists to come along in many, many years.
Pink is fantastic. She is one of the few "real" artists out there who are in the big time. I would definitely go see her.
If anyone has illusions that Pink is involved in any way of her music production, s/he is sadly mistaken. Canned bubblegum act. Next please.
I'm with you. The only thing more annoying than vapid teen pop is when they try to dress it up in punk rock clothes. Blech!
No. No interest whatsoever. I know her by name, but I couldn't name you one song she sings.
If your so familiar with her work what about her don't you like?
I wouldn't go....but then there's a ton of female singers who I wouldn't care to see...
because:-
Many of the female vocalists nowadays tend to sing in the high upper trebles and they like a pitch that to them might sound great but to me is effing downright annoying.
They like to hang on notes for the sheer sonic effect....nothing to do with music .....they just like piercing your eardrums for you.
Being constantly nagged at by your wife/girlfriend.....or.....listening to many female pop vocalists...same thing. You find yourself just wanting to slip away and enjoy a quiet whiskey somewhere.
