Would you rock this bass?

For the record, other than the artwork I like it. If it plays well I might buy it. If it sounds weak (because of the lack of body mass) I'd put an emg in there or something.

Tort pickguard...exactly. I knew something was missing but I couldn't put my finger on it.

I'm very particular about weight. So, if it balances, I might do it. Also seems like a good platform for trying out new pickups, etc. if the neck is straight, that alone night pursuade me to go for it.

Would I play it in public? Probably not.

It's seriously not awful, it just needs some love. And if I remember correctly they do have a P bass body for like 15 bucks. It's not a bad price for a working bass.

That being said I'd buy it for everything but the body. The parts alone are worth the price for 30 bucks.
