to me , the colors look close , but the weave looks different .. ! the lighter diamond is smaller on the darker looking one ... does the darker look like a closer match on the inside ..? like the fabric was put on inside out ?!?

Despite my earlier jest, I haven't yet taken off the grills. Aguilar already shipped me a new one to get them matched up, so I guess I'll find out when the new one arrives. According to their support team, the darker of the two is the correct color for my Chocolate Thunder cabs.
 
What I don't get is why customer service like this is not the norm rather than the exception. Even if Dave sends the OP TWO new matching grill cloths he can't buy this degree of positive advertising for the small coin the grill cloths cost him.

Aguilar already has a winning combination of American branding, killer sound, and great customer service. I think it's largely because Dave Aguilar is just wired this way. Other companies could do the same, and of course some do. Unfortunately, many simply choose not to. I only buy (and cry) from those guys one time.
