I was prepared to not like it, but after seeing/hearing the vid it's pretty cool. Great range for various pu placement. I like how you hear the change while moving the pu's as a open note rings. Talk about "tone dialing"!

Having heard the results, I would be all for a bass like this with a slightly larger body, and maybe some kind of finish to the pickup cavity that made it look less . . . unfinished. I am sure something could be done.

A larger body would help make the pickup cavity less of a gaping hole. The tonal possibilities are really cool. I'm pretty big these days on doing as much as I can with just the instrument.
