Looks like they're adding an even more top-end botique-ey version than the V9. Might seem steep, but yeah, I'm guessing it's likely competitive at that price point. They did add a new budget range (M2 and V3) not long ago for the budget-conscious, so they're working both ends of the scale...
Ahhh, yeah, jumping on the roasted thing. Hmmm. Roast the body too, save lots more weight.
I like that they are expanding their line....rock on Sire!
Check out this angle (bottom pic in this set): They didn't cheap out and just cut away the quilted top at the forearm contour - they actually wrapped the mapled top around the angle, keeping the same top depth, very nice looking:

Hmm. I don’t see how that’s NOT an affordable price for a fairly upgraded instrument from the more standard line.

Well, at least now instead of all those "My $600 Sire V7 is better than my $1,800 Fender American Elite Jazz!" posts, we can look forward to "My $1,500 Sire V10 is better than my $3,000 Fender Custom Classic Jazz!" ones.
Not to knock anyone who likes them , but after owning 2, a 4 and a 5, I couldn’t get along with the neck or the weight. For $1500, they’d sure need to make some major improvements to get a second glance from me. I’m pretty sure they’re not too concerned about my opinion though. To those of you who love them, more power to ya. Just not my cup of tea.
I think it looks nice. Don't think this is pricey at all. I may have to check these out.
Not hard to get the hang of actually. Lots of flexibility too.
