for the price, it's surprisingly well made. i'm leery of the wired in cable too, but mine lasted fine. and i did maybe 15 gigs with it before i moved it to a friend.

M Sterling said:Matt has covered a lot of bases on these two, but I wanted to share something a little different. I also made a clip of the improved V2 downsweep mode on the Xerograph. Settings are in the song description:
This one gets a little weird, that's what happens when you don't plan ahead of time!

This is the downsweep on the Xero with a gated Oxide. It gets a little wanky, but I wanted to show how it responds to lots of different playing styles:

Hope you guys enjoy this monstrous combination!!!
Awesome clips man! awesome playing too!
These clips makes me more excited about the Xero. I already got the Oxide and I can say that it's the fuzz that I've been searching for since I started venturing into effects world. I paired it with Proton and BOD for now. My Xero is coming in 2 weeks. Thanks for all the great clips and settings guys! Will try them when I get my dynamic duo!
yeah...... i'm falling in and out of love with my Aggy Octa all the time. it's a freaking beast, but it's just so unpredictable it's hard to write to it. i kinda need something to do BLAHHHDAOHAOHAOH every time i use it. for fun stuff, unpredictability is pure awesome, but for shows i like to be able to reproduce them sounds. i like my octavers at the end of the chain, so i'm hoping the M9's will be good enough for live stuff.
and DAMN the Aggy stuff are in an awkward shaped box.
Marc, those are some awesome clips you made. Great playing and nice showcase of what some of my favorite pedals can do. I especially like the dubstepy clip you made with Moog EP2... nice pedal work. And your other clip made me GAS for your chops.
The MXR BOD>Oxide>Xero>Moog EP2 signal chain is one that will not be leaving my board anytime soon!
