Very interesting, just saw this Billy Sheehan: My Brand New Signature DiMarzio Pickups 2020
I wonder if there will be an upgraded attitude coming out with these in..... I was just about to buy one but maybe I should hood off. Anyone have any info?

Coolest bass I think I've ever seen, I normally hate the color choices on Billy's basses. There is a 30th anniversary model due to come out this year but so far there is there has been no release date. They are only making 30 of them. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
I sometimes wonder how few of the (pre Attitude LTD Mk 1) Attitude Customs were made.I have a LTD (Mk 1). I was initially told there was only 200 Red and 200 blues made. Just saw another posted online and they stated on 125 red and 125 blue. Do we know which is true?

I played my LTD-II this weekend for the first time in a long time, too! It has super heavy GHS Boomers on it from when I had to do a cover set in drop-C#, but now tuned all the way up to E standard with those same strings. Pretty much the polar opposite of how TIs feel! haha. I LOVE the way that bass is sounding these days, just don't ask for any string bending. That looks really cool. I love the roasted neck.
I played my attitude 3 last night for the first time in along time. I put some ti flats on it. I forgot how amazing this bass is.

I think I’m gonna have to split my pedals up for each pickup. I bet having the fmeron on the neck and the xerograph on the p pickup would sound nuts.
I've only used the dual-outputs once in a live context, but the soundguy said it sounded incredible! "Thick and mean" I think were his exact words.... P pickup into my Verellen Meatsmoke on stage (w/ feed to board), and neck pickup DI to FOH. I had all the Broughtons on my pedalboard that night, and then 5 seconds into the first song some chudd jostled my board and cut my signal and I just went straight into the amp for the rest of the night. Still sounded dope though because Verellen.I think I’m gonna have to split my pedals up for each pickup. I bet having the fmeron on the neck and the xerograph on the p pickup would sound nuts.
Here are the tuners on my Attitude Custom (I think the same as the Attitude Ltd I & II maybe).
Who knows what light replacement tuners are the correct footprint for these?
I looked at Gotoh and Hipshot.
Looks like the Gotoh GB-2 are the correct screw hole and footprint dimensions but the GB-2 are just regular tuners (not Res-o-lite) and maybe not really that much lighter than the stock tuners.
I don't see a Hipshot that looks the right dimensions.
Has anybody replaced their Attitude tuners?

Thanks!
Please post a couple more pics of your bass, I would like to see the bridge....and everybody loves bass porn!
You're welcome.
I had a Gotoh 201B bridge on it for a while just because it was black and I had gone with the black tuners but the stock bridge is back on now.

I recently gave the p pickup the epoxy treatment like Bill does.

The pickguard is from Yamaha Bass Pickguards & Pickguards For Other Guitar Models | Pickguard Planet
Sadowsky style knobs from here Solid Aluminum Knob - "The Eagle" - Black (16 x 19mm)
Dunlop flush mount strap locks
Jon Willis has instructions on coating the pickups with epoxy here if anyone is interested:
I spray painted the top of the neck pickup with some satin black because I didn't care for the chrome rails.
I think that about covers it.
That is nice, I like the epoxy job.
Are the tuners a noticeable change in weight? ...can you feel it?
Anybody else put lighter tuners on your Attitude?I went with hipshot ultralites on my LTD III.
