Does Badass II bridges fit onto bb414? I mean without drilling extra holes or something. Didnt know Gotoh fits too

They no longer make them like your TRB5 there, do they? All the TRB's I've seen lately have the big soapbar pickups and the individual saddles.
BTW, I noticed that they have a couple different models that they offer in Taiwan that they don't sell here in the US. I might ask one of my uncles to buy one for me and ship it over.

No sir. The P/J pickup config was only available with the 1st gen of the TRB-5P. As I've been informed, the 1st gen are more sought after than the later versions. Now that I've had her in the stable for more than a week I've had a chance to put her through some paces. This bass is one heck of a solid bass. LOVE the neck! So much tonal variety as well.
I like the tones I get out of a PJ pickup configuration more then out of two soapbars. PJ with a good pre-amp is very versatile.
I have a Yamaha BB fretless with two soapbars, and it can get two different sounds. Which is okay, because I don't play fretless every day. However for a main squeeze, it would not be acceptable.

Here's a bit of an odd one. My short scale sg-ish copy that was given to me by my old music teacher. I had to refinish it and it has no controls at the moment. Somethings I find unique about it is how the pickup sits low and kind of blends in with the pickguard and the serial number is stamped into the last fret.

Never seen one like that before. It's like an Gibson EB-0, with muted horns. Is it from the 70s?

The one for sale is in Tobaccoburst, no major defects cept for pitting of the metal parts and faded logo. Major issue is a missing pickguard. Asking price is USD550, thinking of offering by shaving half the amount. How much would you be willing to pay for this one? Any comments most welcomed.
