Yamaha Peter Hook Signature Bass

From the beginning i've always seen a lot of bbph availability in italy. Bbph were never available at retail in usa. They were all purchased before the retailers received stock. Sweetwater never took pictures and posted their allocation.
I first called sweetwater and guitar center to buy one after the announcement but sweetwater were all sold and guitar center later cancelled my order. I bought one from music zoo and i could've bought two but didn't want to be greedy. this is what i've been able to surmise by calling retailers directly.
yamaha says 14 in usa
sweetwater 4
guitar center 6
music zoo at least 2
zzounds 1

Yes I saw at least 5/6 available at the time, the less expensive was at 919€. In 6 months they were sold, I think the one I posted is the last one in Italy.
I'm very tempted but I don't really need, having a classic fender P and a P34. On the other hand, the bass looks gorgeous and the limited release could be a future reselling point (if I want..)...

Hello Hooky, Will there be another run of your Yamaha BBPH bass... It's such a great bass !!!

Yes working on it with Yamaha but it won't be this year sadly…

Other snippets ...
The BB1200S has a straight through neck which Yamaha don't do anymore! So we had to compromise on the BBPH and put in extra screws to try and get the same rigidity. I also asked for a boost on the bottom end. I'm not sure which wood the hollow body is made of the guy who made it Chris Eccleshall has sadly passed away, I wish I could ask him. I have my own signature strings from the Bass Centre, Google it!

Technique:
Just pick up the bass and beat the shag out of it with your amp on full and you should be ok

Another batch if market request simple and easy is not possible?
Well there's a ton of supply chain issues at the moment which I suppose doesn't make it easy. I also suppose since it's also not just Yamaha but an agreement with Peter Hook that it's a bit more difficult than just ordering more. Also since the paint job, pickup config, and preamp tweak aren't standard that the factory needs time to set up machinery and all to prepare.
