Mine is without piezo. Circa 1994 and I love those thumb wheel mid frequency selector. What was the post size did you use? 1/2" or 3/8" if you remember?
sorry for the late response...have been way too busy... it's the 3/8" that fit...

Hi
Dr. Cheese, did your last post list the original cost for "5P" or just the trb5-string?
Thanks
Maurice
Is there anybody who tried to replace the stock pup's of a yamaha trb6p with others than bartolinis? I'm asking, because I found out, that Aero can provide for a fitting single coil pickpup. I'm looking for a less "midrangy" and a little smoother sound. Would Aero's be the right choice to meet my expectations?
I already posted a question in the Pickups & Electronic thread but couldn't get a detailed answer.
Thanks for your help
Thanks for your fast answer.Nordstrand Big Singles might work! I may look into that myself.![]()
It's an older BB I believe, judging by the serial either 1987 or 1997. I wouldn't pay more than a couple hundred.
Hey - I hope you'll welcome one more on board
I love my TRB (6II), though it still needs a little tweaking - bought it used
