I got also this one, very nice and deep tone but a little bit heavy to my taste.(4,2 kg) It's the first one I ordered to Suhr and I asked a lightweight one.
For the second I especially asked under 4kg, I like lightweight basses.
Perhaps it is true that they are no longer making basses , there are no bass products on the new website . So if that is true , these may be the last of the breed.

I pmed a TB'er who sells them online, apparently Suhr basses are still on the menu, maybe they haven't gotten around to finishing thier new website.
I hope this is the case because, well, it would be a tragedy for a company that makes one of the best sounding vintage-style basses to simply stop making them.

if you do add a pre, definitely use the Suhr. it's by far the best i've used.
