It never fails, whenever I'm not looking for a bass one always falls from the sky and lands in my lap. This time a Epiphone Thunderbird Pro deal appeared yesterday and I pounced. Wasn't really looking for one but the deal was to good. I really prefer this bridge over the 3 point bridge, and active to boot. It's the bridge I remember from my older brother's years playing em.
I don't have it in my hot little hands till tomorrow, barring any issues it'll be coming home with me.
Thought I was over all this with the purchase of my Jackson KellyBird, and my Fender P (which was something I was looking for). Much like my guitar days, it's just gonna keep on happening, so I might as well own it.
Here's a pic to keep y'all off my butt, will give you a full report after I get it home tomorrow.
The wife will be out with a friend tomorrow, so getting it in the house isn't an issue. Once it's in they all look alike to her, to many to keep up with. Unlike when I bought the P and had to do the perp walk with hardshell case in hand.
Be back tomorrow.

Yea I didn't like doing the perp walk in with the P at all. It was like 10 degrees out that night, couldn't hide it in the garage or car. She might of noticed it through, it's a pretty different blue purple color.
Thanks for your kind words of encouragement.

Uh Oh, just got waved off from the seller, in a holding pattern now. Wonder if someone came in with more money. I acted like I didn't care cause I really don't need another bass. Should of never posted, put a jinx on myself. We shall see, when I know, you'll know.

It's over, I'd say a friend swooped in and bought it out from under me. I didn't need it, probably doing me a favor.
Nothing to see here, move along.
I'm gonna go cry now, we could of been so happy together.

I have a Pro-V and it's great.

Not a fan of the 3-point bridge either, I have a 4-string version that is fretless with one, I'm looking to change it out.

See if Babicz has something that'll work.

Start carrying an extra battery or two and unplug it when not playing.
