I get that sometimes too, but some years ago people also said to me I must be a bassist because I was doing band interviews for a fanzine that my friends and I have been publishing. They said it seems only bassists have that kind of hobby of writing and reading a lot and being busy with building a scene. Other musicians just play or sing, but bassists are extra cool and more intellectual, as it seemed to them. I don't know if that's true. Maybe it is, the less notes we play the more time we have to think about stuff!
