Wiki says Vietnamese baguettes are "usually more airy than its western counterpart, so as a result, has a thinner crust"

South Asia (especially Vietnam) was was heavily influenced by France when it was discovered that there was a abundant amount of rubber trees there. You will find a great amount of french bistros and bakeries down there. Ho Chi Minh spoke French too.

That would be BBQ pork. It's tasty but I prefer grilled chicken or pork.

If that is the BBQ pork...it is similar to the BBQ pork you'll get at Panda Express. Similar but more Vietam-ey...if that makes sense

But I'm not positive someone can either confirm or deny

EDIT: looks like the gecko has confirmed. And I concur the grilled meats taste better

We used to get these Chinese pork rolls. Not sure if that is the proper term but it was minced pork that had a red sauce on it that was wrapped in some kind of dough. It was sweet.
