If you ever go to Pink's on La Brea, they have a "Guadalajara Dog" on the menu that's basically what people have come to know as the L.A. street dog.

Pink's is disgusting though. I don't actually recommend it.

Agreed. If I'm in that neck of the woods, I'd much rather go to Canter's. Killer cole slaw...second only to KFC!

I've tried all manner of cole slaw and have yet to find one I like as much as KFC. Canter's is close.

I prefer basically any cole saw to PFK's. Heck, a bag of shredded cabbage and just about any grocery store cole saw dressing is better than PFK's imo.

I kinda think it is...I love the concept and have since made it at home a few times for dinner though I am not a huge fan of Roscoe's fried chicken recipe

It's definitely different. It begs the question "if I went down South and ordered fried chicken, would it be more like Roscoe's or more like KFC"?

Being that KFC does not use chicken in their recipe, likely the former.
