Btw...most first posts are "what bass is best for metal?"
hehe yeah I reread the comments, I did over react a bit.JehuJava said:Wow. Two negative responses on two pages of comments with 90% approval and you're still upset?
I started on bass due to playing low brass to begin with and actually having a soul.... granted I lost said soul and play guitar as well...

Honestly the reason I picked up bass is because a friend of mine was making fun of me.
We were playing our guitars and he was razzing me for the way I held a pick (ironically I refuse to use them now). And out of nowhere, he said it:
"You hold your pick really strangely. Like a bass player or something. Maybe you should try playing bass."
So I did and four years later here I am.
Stay on the low end,

Hey, does anyone else smell that?
I smell a TROLL!
That would require you knowing exactly what I think it means.
Anyway, I do think the OP's intent was to P-off the bass players.
Wow im getting a lot of hate here...
Sorry if I upset anybody.

Anyway, to share my part, I wanted to play bass because I just liked the way it sounds and also bass is always what gives the song feeling, to me atleast.

bass players always stand there on stage with goofy smiles, their heads bobbing around, and generally looking as if they're having the time of their lives.
). As of now, I haven't played any other instrument aside from bass guitar.
