Your 3 ultimate rig's

Rig #1.
Millennia STT-1 preamp
Meyer powered cab - Invalid Link Removed -- 1x18" + 1x15" + 1x12" + Mid/HF driver, 4 power amp channels totalling 2480W only 280 lbs

Rig #2.
Millennia TD-1 preamp
two Crown MA-2402 or one Lab.Gruppen fP6400 power amps
[one of the three following speaker systems]
Accugroove Tri 110 (four) + Bill Dickens Sub
or
EA CL-310 (pair)
or
Schroeder - one 410 + one 21012

Rig #3.
two Trace Elliot V8 heads
Bergantino NV215 + NV610

1- Ampeg SVP-Pro/Poweramps- EV loaded Mesa RR Powerhouse 1000 and RR 2x15

2- Presonus TubePRE/Poweramps- Two Eden 215XLTs and one 810XLT

3- Alembic F1-X/Poweramp - Epifani 210UT

Note- Each poweramp would be about 1200 watts apiece or better.

And, see, the beauty of this is, I could freely mix and match the cabs and heads for whatever I feel like. Yes, most of the cabs are ostentatious, but if I've learned anything, it's that you can turn a huge rig down, but you can't turn a small rig up.

1. Ampeg SVT Classic (or any other tube head), Ampeg 810he (why not, right?)
*Hey.... c'mon... if I've got a roadie, he can carry it all.
2. Sansamp RBI + QSC PLX2402, Eden D810XLT
3. Sansamp RBI + QSC PLX2402, Epifani UL610

Sorry.... I got 1 more
4. Sansamp RBI + QSC PLX3002, Schroeder 310212
*Wow... that thing will we sweet...

You and Tom Bowlus are my heros.
[You going to change your TB ID to Prock-n-Meyer?]

Classic rock rig :
Ampeg SVT 70's + 2 Ampeg svt 810 AV

Standart rock rig:
Mesa/Boogie M2000 + Mesa/Boogie Roadready 2x15

Ultimate Big Rig w/lotta roadies:
4 Mesa/Boogie M2000 + 2 Mesa/Boogie Roadready 6x10 + 2 Mesa/Boogie Roadready 1x18

I have the M2000 and the SVT vintage. I'll say the harder is done. :hyper:

I really like the M2000 head's tone and versatility.

I'd like a rig that psychically broadcasts the notes as I hear them in my head into the minds of my audience....but failing that I'll take:

2 SVT-4 Pros (second one just adding more power) driving an 8x10 and 2x15 loaded with mid 90s vintage Hartke aluminium cone drivers. I played this exact rig once in a guitar shop and it was pure tonal bliss....

I'll take one of these for each sides of the stage, and custom F series fretless 5 string please.

For the record my birthday is April 28th :)

Number one:

Ampeg SVP-PRO (owned)
QSC PL 218 (yep, got it 3 days ago)
Epifani 410 UL (in my service for about 6 months now)

And maybe a PreSonus Eureka. From what I've heard they have a clear and beautiful sound, ie, loads of clarity, and they have really decent bells and whistles.

Number two:

Same rack setup but with some Schroeder cabinets. Not sure which ones.

Number three:

One of those tiny little Eden timetraveller or what ever they are called combos. The teeny one with a single coaxial 10 inch driver. And maybe the extension speaker cab to go with it.

1. My current rack set-up: Read Purity preamp/Crest CA-9 Bergantino HT210 & HT115. :)

2. My Read Purity preamp, a big honkin' Crown Macro-Tech amp and 2 Bergantino HT322 cabs. :bassist:

3. Late 60's/early 70's Ampeg SVT head and 2 Ampeg 8-10" cabs.

current amp rig:
- Demeter VTBP-201s pre into Stewart World 2.1 power amp
- AccuGroove El Whappo and Whappo Grande (also a Tri 112 for smaller gigs)

except for the preamp (which I'd like to replace with a Glockenklang Soul), I'm really happy with this rig.

small gig/practice rig of choice:
- SWR Workingman's 10 with 1x10 extension cab

favorite combo amp:
- SWR Redhead

Lemme see...I have a "few" rigs, of which the components are interchangable:
Preamps:
Demeter HBP1
Avalon vt737
Avalon U5
Avalon M5
Manley VoxBox
Raven Labs PHA1
Universal Audio 610

Amps:
Demeter VTHF300M
Hafler
Stewart 2.1
Mackie M800
SWR Electric Blue
SWR California Blonde

Cabs
SWR Blonde On Blonde
SWR Workingman's 1x10
2 Custom made 1x12's w/ Bag End spkrs
Bag End D10D
BagEnd D10Dx
Custom made 1x10 wedge with Eminence B102

I mix and match 'em at will.....mostly gravitating to the Demeter pre thru the fx return of the Cali Blonde (or Blonde on Blonde) if only for convience sake.

Max

1. Dead mint B15N, loaded with an CTS 15G54B, w/Anvil flight case

2.. '72 or so V4B head, 1-Sunn 200S cab loaded with K140's, Anvil Flight Cases

3. A couple of big-ass Trace Elliot heads and Trace Elliot with 4- 2x15 cabs, Anvil Flight cases

YMMV
