2. Orange/Blue (GO GATORS!) Rig
- Orange AD200B
- Orange 4x10
- Matamp “Blue” 2x15

3. 1960's Vintage Ampeg B-15

I'm going to try to get the WP100, QSC, and the LDS 3x10 within a few months, too. That'll replace my current Eden Metro.

Ok- heres something a little differrent.... NOT!

Main / Large Gig Rig (if ever I get there).
Head: Gallien KruegerK 2001RB
Cabs: 2x12" + 4x10" (unsure on brand... Aguilar?)
Effects: Boss CS-3, ODB-3 (not a big user of effects)
Basses: Fender American Jazz (got) and American P-Bass.


Practice / Small gig / Recording Rig
HEAD: Gallien Krueger 800RB X2 (One depending on output needed... Getting one)
Cabs: 1x12" + 4x10" (or 2x10" Depending on volume needed)
Effects: Same as above...
Basses: Same as above...

Tube Rig
Head: Ampeg SVT Classic
Cabs: Ampeg 8x10


Hehehe Not alot really, I do have the Fender Jazz, I am currently working on a deal on an 800RB, and curently building a 1x12" (might make it a 4ohm 2x12" if I get the 800rb actually.) :) Currently working on Looking for a band too :cool:

Rig #1.
Millennia TD-1 preamp
Meyer MTS-4A powered speaker system (1x18" + 1x15" + 1x12" + Mid/HF driver, 4 power amp channels totalling 2480W -- only 280 lbs).

Rig #2.
Millennia TD-1 and Read Purity preamps
two Crown MA-2402 power amps (bridged)
[Mixer and switching to allow either preamp into both power amps or blend both preamps each with it own power amp.]
Accugroove Bill Dickens 212 + BD Sub
or
EA CL-310 (two cabs -- vertically stack them)
or
Schroeder - 410 stacked on top of a 21012.

Rig #3.
[Best bang for the buck KILLER rig]
Demeter VTBP-201S preamp w/Mullard 12AX7 tubes (2nd hand would save some buck$)
Crown MacroTech MA-2402 power amp (bridged)
Schroeder - one 410 (or 21012).

[If you're on an extreme budget (like I usually am):
substitute a SansAmp RBI for the Demeter
substitute QSC RMX1850HD for the Crown power amp
substitute a Schroeder 1210 for the 410.]

I tried a good portion of what I have seen listed here before deciding on my ultimate rig, and there is only one for me.

Crest Pro 200 8200 amp
Alembic F1X preamp
Genz-Benz NeoX212's---two of them.

I could always add two more G-B cabs and do stadium demolition on the side; this rig is already a major earth mover.

#1 is already posted but I can't argue with a rig like that:

Trace V8 into Bergantino 610 + 215

Now that is an awesome setup, the greatest head in existance paired with a set of great cabs.

#2 is what you get when loud is never enough:

Trace V-Type Preamp or other tube pre (undecided)
2x QSC PLX 3002 in bridge mode
2x Tech Soundsystems "Bad Cab" (2000 watts - 2x15, 2x12, 4x10 + tweeters)

Number 3 is for when valves and volume are your thing:

1x Mesa 400+ Preamp (can't remember the proper name)
4x Mesa Strategy 500 in bridge mode
1x Tech Soundsystems ND 215 S (2x15)
1x Tech Soundsystems ND 118 DCMT (1x18, 1x10)
1x Tech Soundsystems ND 612 S (6x12)
1x Tech Soundsystems ND 610 S (6x10)

That would be possibly the most stupidly loud yet tonally pure all valve setup in existance.

I have used tech cabs because they have massive power handling and are very hifi so won't interfear with the glorious valve sound.

And don't forget the most important ingredient in all of this....

Small : Glockenkland HeartCore into an original Epifani 2x12 (what I have now)

Medium: Glockenklang Heartcore into an Accugroove El Whappo

Large: Glockenklang Classic Bass Art Preamp, QSC PLX-3402's into 2 El Whappo's (and a roadie to carry it!) No roadie is why I'm sticking with my current rig!
