Your 3 ultimate rig's

having problems with ampeg cabinets lately speakers are junk took one out and it was chinese junk 8 10 cabinet brand new blew two speakers first month.......got a 4 10 cabinet in return and blew 1 speaker after 3 gigs....using svt classic head all tube.

Don't crank frequencies, especially bass. Leave everything flat, then adjust as mildly as possible to get to the sound you want.

Cranking bass and playing too heavy-handed are the real reasons most speakers burn out. It being the fault of the company is actually rare, especially when you start reaching into Ampeg and above status (and Ampeg is considered by a lot of the audiophiles on here only a Medium-Grade company).

I own #1, and it's serving me very well. Much, much happier with this setup than I have been with the SWR, Ampeg,Peavey, and Genz stuff I have owned in years past.

#'s 2 & 3, well, they're a ways off yet. But, someday hopefully.

3. Huge Stereo Rig: Clean Side: GK 2001RBP + 1 Side of a Crown MacroTech 3600 VZ into 4 GK 2x12 Neo Cabs. Dirt Side: Sansamp RBI + Other side of a MacroTech 3600 VZ into 2 Ampeg 8x10 Cabs.
