Rig #1.
Millennia TD-1 preamp
Meyer MTS-4A powered speaker system (1x18" + 1x15" + 1x12" + Mid/HF driver, 4 power amp channels totalling 2480W -- only 280 lbs).

Rig #2.
Millennia TD-1 and Read Purity preamps
two Crown MA-2402 power amps (bridged)
[Mixer and switching to allow either preamp into both power amps or blend both preamps each with it own power amp.]
Accugroove Bill Dickens 212 + BD Sub
or
EA CL-310 (two cabs -- vertically stack them)
or
Schroeder - 410 stacked on top of a 21012.

Rig #3.
[Best bang for the buck KILLER rig]
Demeter VTBP-201S preamp w/Mullard 12AX7 tubes (2nd hand would save some buck$)
Crown MacroTech MA-2402 power amp (bridged)
Schroeder - one 410 (or 21012).

[If you're on an extreme budget (like I usually am):
substitute a SansAmp RBI for the Demeter
substitute QSC RMX1850HD for the Crown power amp
substitute a Schroeder 1210 for the 410.]
I've also been thinking lately that it would be cool to have a Mesa/Boogie system:
M/B 400+ head
M/B 410 Diesel (pair) -- the older cabs (I think with E-V drivers).

Mine hasn't changed much (and i already own the cabs of my dreams), but I'll play again:

1. Trace Elliot V8, Bag End S15x-d, Bag End S15-d

2. Aguilar DB 680/728, same cabs as above.

3. Orange AD200b, w/matching cabs orange 410 & 115

OK i would have the same rig with just different heads.

All rigs consist of:

(2) Ampeg 810E Cabinets
Tech 21 Sansamp PSA-1
Line 6 DM4 Distortion Modeler
Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler w/ expression modeler
Boss RV-3
Boss OC-2
EHX Big Muff Russian
BBE 482i Sonic Maximizer

And the heads would be :
Ampeg SVT-CL
Ampeg SVT-II
Aguilar Pre/ Power amp setup 728/659

I'm not sure why so many seem to want to run a Glockenklang pre through a QSC power amp.... :eyebrow: but to each his own I guess.

For me... got the ultimate head - Glockenklang Heart-Rock. currently running through a Bergantino 322. I may eventually switch to Glock cabs... we'll see.

To me,the Glockenklang BassArt Classic pre-amp sounds way better than the Heart-Rock.The Heart-Rock sounds great,in fact,it sounds like a Soul head with alot more power, but it's pre-amp doesn't touch the BassArt.

I have owned (1)BassArt Classic Pre,(1)BassArt pre,(1)BassArt Classic head,(1)BassArt head,(2)Bugatti 400 poweramps(3)Heartcore heads,(4)Soul heads.I have yet to buy a Heart-Rock,but I have spent alot of time with one(I have had four of them at my store),and they do sound great, but if you want the Ultimate Glockenklang sound, buy the BassArt Classic Pre-amp with a Bugatti poweramp,or just a BassArt Classic head(it has half of a Bugatti built in)!!

Well, I can always add a bass art classic pre down the road if I want. The power amp in feature is nice for this kind of thing. :D

Small is my LMK with a pair of high end 12's ( I have a Mark std112h now and just ordered a bergantino ht112)

Medium
Euphonic Audio IAMP 800 with a pair of 2 x 12s

Large
Millenia Pre
some sort of tube power amp
Pair of Aguilar 4 x 12s

Hmm I think I like the 12's....although pairing the 12s with an occassional 2 x 10 is nice too...
