Your Best 410 Cab Poll

SWR Golliath is my choice for a 4x10 along with a SWR SM400s and my Ken Smith basses. I might play my Fender Precision through it just to mix it up a bit.

I also like the EDEN 410XLT

I voted 410HLF, because that's the one on this list that I've used in a live setting. I personally loved the tone and would like to buy one.

I've just bought a 610HLE. I'm too lazy/chicken to get an 8x10.

Aguilar GS410 did it for me. Your results may vary.

I used to like my 410HLF a lot but I'm lovin my GS410.

Most unfortunate. Which really makes these type of polls subjective. A lot of quality 410's were not mentioned, but there is no way for the OP to experience them all, so your point is well taken. I was being a bit facetious while making my point.

Ship one of your 410's over to me in Dallas and I'll play it and vote for it! Bet it kicks a$$ !! I love a good 410 cab ... and two is even better.

And isn't the SA410 basically an HS410?

That should have been HS410, and while the SA410 and the HS410 share the same enclosure and tweeter, Jim used different drivers in the SA410. I am not sure if the crossover is the same or not.

I'm in Copenhagen for a month of gigs...the backline they supplied includes 2 Eden XLT 410 cabs...I just don't like anything about them...don't hate them, but can't see how anyone could be a HUGE fan...to be fair...I HATE the supplied backline amp (GK 800rb...was supposed to be a 1001rb)...I've owned a few Eden cabs/amps and I've never been able to get any magic out of 'em...they are really...fine, but never special.

I voted swr but when I think swr I think pre fender owned swr with those amazing pas drivers. the eminence loaded swr cabs just didnt do it for me.

I only own Ampeg cabs (SVT610HLF, SVT412HE, SVT18) and used to have an SVT410HLF.

But the best 410 I've played through was an Eden XLT.

You never said which Epifani cab, there are three different ones. There are the dist, the UL, and the SP. I own the SP410. I got that one because I like a more classic tone as oppose to a modern tone. The people there are very helpful. I called them and told the what style of music I played and money wasn't a issue and they suggested the SP. They could have tried to sell me the more expensive cab, but they didn't. Had it for about five years and love the tone, but I hate the wt. it's a little in the heavy side

I still got a D410XLT and was a long time my favorite 410.
But the DNA DNS410 is more in use now, great tone and the power is amazing.

My vote would be the Berg HS-410 ... it plays well with many different flavors of amps
