Pretty much the same design as Baranclebeau's current build with some changes:
32" scale
Hard "V" neck profile
Fretless
Cocobolo fb with ebony binding
Headless
Semi-Hollow body
Two SD Lipstick Tube pups in the neck pos
One Delano MM pup in the bridge pos
Cocobolo pickup covers with ebpny binding as well
Spalted Maple top
Active/ Passive circuit with Aguilar OBP-3 pre
The passive circuit would have stacked concentric pots
Well there you have it for custom...
and for production:
EBMM Sterling Fretless or de-fretted Gibson SG Supreme bass

There was a '99 honeyburst on Gbase for $995, in "dead mint" condition, and it looked it. No cash at the time, though . The 3 is the only LPBass that had the same body as the Les Paul Standard guitar.

A Dingwall Z3 with a swamp ash body with white grain filler and a burled maple top, all finished in translucent green. 
After being spoiled from looking at all the beautiful pieces of "functional art" on this site,it's rare that I run across a bass and go,"hmmmmm!!!"Well,this one has caught my eye that way:

Mine's pretty simple..warwick corvette $$..unfortunately I hate how warwick necks feel, so I guess my other one would be a fender american deluxe jazz in olympic pearl
