Your favorite bass, ever?

Not just because it’s new to me, I don’t think:

This one. Finally got to try it in the bandsetting. Sounded great until our guitarist fiddled with my drive pedal.
It turned into a growling beast from the dark forests of Germany right there. 93 fortress one.
That sound, that wenge neck. It's just lovely.
The 'made in West Germany' tuners add that nice cold war vibe to it as well. View attachment 4127045
That's right! I also love the wenge necks on these models.

I've owned several great basses over the years and still have a few of them. I know it's difficult to single out one bass that you might consider your favorite but just wondering if you had one choice what would it be? For me it's my 1995 German Warwick Fortress One Masterman. It's the easiest playing and best sounding bass of the 30 or so basses that i have owned.View attachment 4126578 It would be the last one that i would ever sell.

Mine is also a mid-90s Warwick, my 1996 Corvette Standard. Replaced the preamp a few years ago, but otherwise all original. Absolutely love it and, barring a disaster, will never part with it.
