Your favorite exotic top

I like 'em all but my favorites have to be Amboyna Burl, Camphor Burl, and really exotic swirly / sapelle / sapwood bubingas. Pretty much in that order.

One of these days, I'll own me a nice bass in a super two-color Amboyna Burl!

It wouldn't be accurate to say that these two tops are my all-time favorites, but I sure feel fortunate to own them. As a plus, they happen to sit on extremely good sounding basses. The Elrick is spalted myrtle burl, the Stambaugh is afzelia burl.
