The ironic thing is that Honey was a fantastic album -- some folks think it was the Ohio Players' best work.
What...you couldn't get the guy's autograph that drummed on the album?
Sadly, Mr. Rutsey was not available. Both drummers' autographs would be pretty cool.
Can't post the image, but Big Black's final album ("Songs about...") has one of my favourite covers of all time, front and back. You'll have to google it though.
I always liked the back cover of Deep Purple's " Machine Head " better than the front cover.

Definitely. One of my top 20 albums of all time.
When I painted the back of my jacket (remember, 20+ years ago...) it was a toss-up between this cover and the cover of "Locust Abortion Technician". In the end, Locust Abortion Technician won, but it was close ...

Acid Bath - When the Kite String Pops (I think the main reason I like this one is because the music is just so good, that and the serial killer reference is a nice touch.)
I'm a pretty simple man to please. Other than that I really like gory stuff too. Probably not a good idea to post Cannibal Corpse covers or the new Dragged Into Sunlight - Hatred for Mankind album cover.
I remember the record -- and all the ruckus surrounding the cover. Mom's was a pretty good group; I saw them at the Whisky 4 or 5 times back in the day.
i really like all of lightning bolts album covers especially the latest album. brilliant albums and brilliant art work that is done by the band as well..
Always put this on the front of "stack" so when my friends walked in the room thats the first thing they saw.

Originally, the entire cover was round: when opened completely, there were five circles attached at the edges. It was sold in a poly bag, as the card stock could not actually hold the disc. When reissued some time later, the sleeve was regular square construction.

viewing this thread makes me realize that in general, album art isn't nearly as artistic as it used to be...
