Your Favorite Neck?

I'm addicted to jazz necks. I'm a man of simple tastes. My least favorite neck so far has been the 4003.

Geddy Lee Jazz - Thinnest and fastest neck I have played
Sadowsky MS5 - You could land a plane on the fretboard but it just feels right to me!

My favorite necks are my Soundgear 800's, followed by the MIJ Jazzes and pre-EB Sabre I've owned.

It's makes sense to me. I bet that wide Sadowsky board is still pretty thin.

I was playing "Glide" on a Geddy Lee today, it made me want a four string again.

MusicMan Sterling -all time favourite 4 - I've not got one at the moment ( owned a number in the past) and I miss the necks on those - especially with a rosewood board.

and I really like the #8 G&L necks which are on both my Asat and SB-2. they're similiar to a Sterling in profile,if a little less slick.

My favorite is the Millennium 5 plus neck because I like the spacing,I don't slap much.The next is easily the MTD Z5 with the 5502 a close second.Both those necks were awesome and even though I don't need a wider neck,they just seemed to play themselves.After that a Pedulla Rapture I had was great and also a Guild Pilot 5.All great necks IMHO.

My favorite neck is on my Wilkins Custom P/J. Not too chunky, not too flat, 1.52" at the nut, 7.25" radius Ebony fretboard, vintage frets and radiused edges. For me it's as close to perfect as I've found.

My Ibanez GWB 35 neck has a "flattened U-shape" profile that feels delicious to me (recently gigged @ a high profile club 4th and 5th of July).

Also, Pedulla necks feel dreamy .... so slim and trim, so right (I own a Thunderbass).

My MM Sterling. Went in to buy a Stingray and while blown away by the sound, the neck wasnt for me. Grasshopper at BassCentral said here try this and passed me a Sterling. Sold. Now I just need a rosewood HS and I think I'm done forever.

My favorite necks are attached to the body....

but so far it's either the Corvette fretless or the Modulus Flea bass.

I can get around so easily on the Flea compared to my other 5 stringers in the past. It's not exactly the smallest neck I've played, but it's so comfortable.

and the 'vette is smoking fast. I've got no preference as to the feel/shape of the Warwick neck woods. I think the Wenge/Ovangkol debate is all hype (and I've got both currently).
