Cars, cars, cars and more cars. Anything with a turbocharger.

My red-sled, also known as the Pelican. 1989 Mazda Miata. Bored .060 w/ 8.0:1 compression pistons(forged), H-beam connecting rods, race ported head, bowl blending. 3 liter intake manifold w/ tuned velocity stacks and ported runners. The turbocharger system was built by me, consists of a Garrett ball bearing turbo, Turbonetics "Race" wastegate and a MegaSquirt standalone EMS tuned by me on my laptop with a AEM wideband system.

The car sits right now weighing 2180lbs and makes around 300whp :cool: Not a beauty queen, just a street missile.

On my dresser, because that was the only place big enough for it. And, to make it worse, I keep putting more models up there. I actually have an entire bookcase full of models. At quick glance, I have a 1/48 P-61, a 1/48 B-25(still needs decals), a 1/48 Monogram He-111(not painted by me), and a 1/72 Testors C-119(that had a wheel broken off, need to fix that).

some pics of it, and I tried to show it's surroundings(and, consequentially, got a little bit of my wall and Hammond) It has a fair coating of dust, so, it may look a little musty.

I'm a pretty avid writer, though I haven't been as into it lately as I used to be. Xbox and trying to hook up with the girls in my neighborhood are pretty big hobbies of mine as well.... and eating. My fat *** loves to eat, I guess it comes with being Italian.

The P-61 doesn't have the finished red walkway on it because Revell didn't include enough of the decal strips. I think they had instructions on how to buy/make some more ACTUALLY PRINTED ON THE INSTRUCTIONS. :eyebrow::rollno:

I drink and hit on girls a lot. I also read and write too.

I used to do a lot of modelling growing up and recently got back into it. I used to play Warhammer 40K and I still had an army so I started playing that. Since the company that makes the models charges an arm and a leg for things I've been converting tank and plane kits for use in the game. For those who know the game, I play Imperial Guard. I used to play Cadians when they came out and bought a bunch of battle forces. 300+ infantry painted and converted and about 15-20 tanks before I quit the first time. Now I've got about 30 tanks and a few flyers.

I've also built a ton of WWII tank kits in the past year and made dioramas. I've sold a few to friends since they've come out pretty well. Nowhere near as good as T-Birds trains. Currently I'm doing a Tiger II tank in a bombed out church and covered in camo netting with a handful of German troopers as support. Tank is almost finished being painted for assembly, troopers are done, and I'm almost done making the church. Styrofoam walls covered in modeling putty so I can make bricks and 'wooden' supports done up the same way. The coolest part is going to be the stain glass window when I finish making it.

I used to be a modeller myself as well! The "88" in my name is a reference to modelling - I won an award for a diorama I built in high school - the Tamiya 1/35th German 88mm gun. I entered it in the Armor Modeling Preservation Society (AMPS) which usually met near Aberdeen Proving Grounds (MD). The best one I ever did was a Dragon 1/35 StuG IV, with photoetched metal, handmade Zimmerit, an open engine compartment with an aftermarket engine kit, 4 figures, and homemade rubble. I also used those "Fruilmodellismo" tracks. It took all of my free time between January & April of my senior year of HS.

Great job on the planes and HO trains. I could never make the wings straight and my finishes were awful (if you make a fingerprint on a tank, you can put a tarp over the side or some gear, or mud...). I did build the Heinkel HE-111 model that was shown - I botched the landing gear, so it was flying with wheels up, hanging from my ceiling!

I got out of it in 2003, and sold everything - all of my accumulated kits, paints, brushes, airbrush (and compressor), etc. I miss it a bit, but when I tried to pick it up again, I didn't have the same passion for it. (Maybe because it was a Dragon kit...)

Computers, collecting and playing old box games ( I.E. Avalon Hills games and the like .. mostly military based ), hot rods ( until I took a job at a non profit .. can't afford them now :) ) and online games with all my nephews and sibs. A family that plays together stays together!

Beautiful! Hostas are some of my favorite plants. Gardening is one of my hobbies but with two bands, a full-time job, and planning for my wedding in August I can't even keep the grass cut regularly this year.

Motorcycling is my other passion, though for the same reasons above I haven't been able to get out and ride much this year. To own a mid-seventies Moto Guzzi requires fatalism, an active sense of humor, and a lot of patience. It's worth it though. When my T3 is running well there is nothing else like it, and I've owned and ridden bikes as diverse as Honda's RC30 (and its 400cc little brother the NC30) to an NSR250 to a BMW R1150GS to a Kawi KLX400. Motorcycling is zen in motion.

Nice to see some model builders here. When I was kid all I did was draw and build models, though for me it was 1:32 WWII dioramas, mostly Tamiya.

That Revellogram P-61 is a bear of kit. Have you seen that Great Wall Hobbies is coming out with a BRAND NEW TOOL P-61 in 1/48?
