First bass owned: Hohner B-2 Steinberger copy. I sooooo wanted a Steinberger... I even cut out the Steinberger logo from their catalog and glued it in place over the Hohner logo. Moved the strap button to the back so I could emulate the look of the strap harness. I later gave the bass away (after removing the logo).
First line learned... either Little Green Bag (lot of open strings and 3rd fret) or Working Man (same thing).
First Bass - Cortez P Bass copy (Looked exactly like a '62..
First bass line - The Chain, by Fleetwood Mac
First bass line when I picked up a bass again this year for the first time in 20 years - Mandocello by Cheap Trick
It was on my fretless Fender P back in the 70's. And the tune of off the self titled Flock album. I'm not sure the name of the tune but I think it was "Clown".
First Bass: Custom Fretless Carvin (my buddy let me play on it under his supervision untill I got my crappy Silvertone P-copy)
First Line: As soon as I touched the bass I taught myself was The Other Side by Red Hot Chili Peppers, then Around the World, also by Red Hot Chili Peppers
