Then and Now. Nice to have two low-angle comparison shots.

meh, I wore a onesie with a butt-flap at our last show. I usually just wear the best of whatever clothes I have... I mean, It's not as if I am like "welpt, I've got a concert tonight, better take off these stupid looking clothes that I normally wear and put on something that doesn't suck." I try to have clothes in my wardrobe that I feel comfortable in.

I typically wear boot cut jeans, some sort of print tee shirt, and my good old Converse Chuck Taylors. I've found if you wear a tee shirt representing a "local" sports team during their particular season, it goes over well.

It helps that I like sports and if someone strikes up a conversation about the team I've got on my shirt, I can actually carry on a conversation.

Here in Massachusetts, you never go wrong with the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, or Red Sox.

I'm thinking of going the hat route, but just haven't found the one yet......

With my 90's coverband, I always go dressed like this:

As for NONA, I usually wear something like this:

So a skinny jeans and a shirt or V-neck T-shirt.

In other bands, it depends on the band. What always works with cover bands is something like this, with a white shirt:

But with substitute gigs, I usually wear jeans and a V-neck shirt.

These are perfect examples of dressing well for the gig the without A) trying too hard, while at the same time B) not looking like the average slub on the street.

Plus, the Aguilar rig keeps the style classy as well. :D

Our singer is up front providing all the 'entertainment' and 'showmanship' values we can muster, and always wears a dark suit. Sort of a Buster Poindexter type, without the lush schtick. Us lot, we're a bunch of grouchy slobs who couldn't put on a show to save our lives. As the bass player I try to stay out of the spotlight, standing way at the back and communicating mainly with the drummer. So I'll wear something that doesn't draw attention, typically black jeans and a nondescript dark shirt.
