Your "MUST HAVE" Pedal?

Even though I sold my last one and truly regret it, the pedal that was a must have for me was the MXR M80. I sold it for good reason and I plan on buying another in the near future. I love that thing! Tougher than woodpecker lips, dependable, didn't take up a lot of space, versatile, great d.i., can run on phantom power, and sounded great in the studio. My only tiny complaint is that the distortion channel loses a little bit of low end. But these days I don't use a lot of distortion. I haven't had a plethora of pedals go through my hands but that's the one for me.

I don't know if this has been covered recently, but with the amount of pedals coming out daily I wanted to hear everyone's pick for the ONE pedal that they can't live without. Don't list 2 or 5, etc... Just the ONE pedal that you consider your Holy Grail.

For me it is the Keeley Bassist Compressor
Can't decide, either the sansamp vt di or the ehx micropog. Use both a lot, although usually not at the same time.
