I have a 70's p bass neck that I love and have had on a few different bodies now. It has a nice patina and a few dings that look cool. I try not to be too picky about looks but I alway felt it looked out of place on bodies with a new glossy poly finish and always kind of wanted a vintage body to match it. This body came up in the classifieds and I bought it. I admit I had my beer goggles on at the time. Looking at it now I'm not sure I like the relic job. I like the yellowing and aging of the paint but do the chips around the sides look a little to deliberate and fake? As if someone purposefully went at it with a set of keys or something.
