Fulltone ChoralFlange. Yeah, it's two effects, but it sounds fantastic.

I can tell you my two favorites for guitar, I have used them less often for bass since I use bass fx less often.

1. Roland/Boss CE1 Chorus Ensemble
2. Original EH Deluxe Electric Mistress

These are only ones I have ever liked for myself but I have not tried much of the really new stuff. YMMV

I own a Digitech Bass Multi Voice Chorus. I used to like it, but its kinda got a cold, boring sound to me now. I wouldn't really recommend it. Also if you ever want to run it on batteries, your going to need a big supply. It eats a 9 volt every couple of hours.

I'm a fan of the ibanez cs9 chorus. i'm saving to get one. i haven't tried many other choruses to compare but i prefered it to the digitech and boss bass choruses...

The Line 6 Space Chorus is very under-rated I think. Just watch out because that thing will eat a 9V in a couple hours like the Digitech. Run it on a power supply though, and your laughin'

I like the EHX Small Clone. Not the most flexible(only two depths) but always sounds great. It's a classic for a good reason.

Only got one chorus, and thats a Boss CEB-3, does the job.
When I get paid I think I will probably end up buying a small clone and use the Boss as an always on light chorus.

I actually haven't tried any of the newer boutique choruses out there. I've always liked the old Ibanez UE-series choruses and haven't felt the need to upgrade (I have three of them- UE303B, UE400, UE405). I imagine the 9-series pedals from Ibanez and Maxon would have the same/similar circuits. I also like some of the chorus-like qualities of the 3D fx in the Roland SRV-330.

Fab Chorus, yes its cheap and made of plastic, but it works beautifully.

Peavey BAC-2 Bass Chorus. Simply amazing for a nice subtle mwah.

In order of which one I like the best:

1. Rocktron Tsunami
2. Rocktron Deep Blue

I use a Marshall SV-1 since I got it cheap. The funny thing is that it actually sounds pretty sweet for a Marshall product.

Back when I had one I thought the CEB3 is all the chorus I will ever need. It's very flexible and you can Uni Boss it!

tc-electronics chorus-pitch modulator-flanger. IMHO the best choruspedal .EBS did not work for me at all.:scowl:

I've only owned two different chorus pedals (soon to be 3, once the EHX Stereo Clone Theory comes out...):

EHX Small Clone
Boss CEB-3

The Boss was pretty good and flexible, but it couldn't compete with the lushness and clarity of the Small Clone.

So, yeah...Electro-Harmonix Small Clone for me!
