Your Very First CD!

There was a fairly good assortment of vinyl that I listened to as a child, everything from CCR and the Beatles to Sesame Street LP's.

I'm sure I took some part in selecting some of the children's oriented material but I don't remember for certain.

The first tapes I bought (I purchased them simultaneously) were the Big Chill Soundtrack -- I've always had a thing for oldies and Motown -- and Michael Jackson - Bad. Jackson was the biggest thing on the block at that age, and I must've been seven or eight at the time.

The first CD I purchased was U2's Zooropa album. It was the best album available at Costco the night that I bought my first CD player.
