At our wedding party there was some music chosen by the bar owner, and thanks God it was Miles Davis.
But if I'd have to choose a tune for my wife and me would be both a love tune and a chaconne (ostinato bass line with variations on it), so I'd choose this:

"The more I see you / the more I enjoy you / I am yours / You are mine / o my life / o my treasure... "(I know, it may seem weird to some, but I also play violone in a baroque ensemble, and she's a musicologist).

We danced to John Fogerty's "Centerfield". Our wedding was in a ball park and we both know how to dance so it was fitting and fun.

Wedding songs were a tricky affair at mine. The bridal party walked on to an original composition of mine. My wife walked on to an orchestral version of Glen Hansard's "Falling Slowly" that I arranged and recorded. We walked off at the end of the ceremony to The Beatles "Eight Days a Week." During the reception a few friends and I played acoustic versions of Glen Hansard's "High Hope," Counting Crows' "Omaha," Joe Jackson's "Is She Really Going Out With Him," Glen Hansard's "Love Don't Leave Me Waiting," and The Beatles "She Loves You."
