Since I am in minimalist mode on this island, I choose a Zoom MS-60B as my all-in-one pedal, and a good looper to play along with.

Can I include a drum machine as part of my rig? Or at least a metronome? I don't think that's too much to ask...

If the goal is to keep myself entertained on the island I guess a Strymon Möbius and a delay/looper like a DL4.

If the question is what two effects matter most (not counting a tuner) I'd say overdrive for sure. The second depends on what I'm doing. For rock oriented stuff I'd say distortion or fuzz. For funk I'd say octaver or filter.

So for me:

(1) My custom JohnK overdrive and TAFM
or
(2) My custom JohnK overdrive and either a Xerograph or Octabvre

Is said island within swimming distance of another island? If so, I'd have my Mu Fx Mu Tron 3x and Octave Divider on first island, and a Chunk Systems Brown Dog and 00Funk Mk II on the neighbouring island. I'd then send an S.O.S. for the rest of me pedals or tunnel my way out with my Bootsy Spacebass...
