Zoom b3 patch Ideas

Here's a new patch idea i came up with. this patch closely duplicates the killer tube emulated sounds of a verellen meatsmoke preamp pedal.

Killer bassdrive

Section 1: bassdrive: bass: 3, treble: 4, presence: 3, gain: 50, blend: 70, level: 90, mid: 7

Section 2: t-scream: gain: 25, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 30

Section 3: flip top: bass: 3, mid: 4, treble: 4, midfq: 200hz, gain: 40, level: 90, ultra: low, cab: ag1x15, mix: 50

Have the M comp on the one I'm using now, but was using the bassman. Got any good M comp settings for that tight compressed sound? Thanks again.

Anytime dude...I normally don't use compressor effects that much, but I would say that the m Comp and the limiter are by far my most favorite compressor models to use on the zoom b3. I've used them on some of the patches I created on my zoom b3.

Is there any chance to have the tone of the Tung bass of John Muyng? Any kind sir?

Try this and tell me what you think
The bass MUST be with dual coil Humbuckers and Nickels.I try it with split coils and sound good, but with the dual coils sound a lot better.Use the bridge pickup to strength the harmonics and the crawl.

1.M comp: THRSH= 38 - Ratio= 9 - Level = 80 - Attack = 9

2.GraphicEQ: 50Hz= -5 - 120hz= -3 - 400hz= -1 - 500hz=0 - 800hz=2 - 4.5khz=5 - 10khz= 6 - Level = 100

3.Ensemble: Depth = 48 - Rate = 30 - Mix = 75 - Tone = 5 - Level = 100.

Play with the EQ and the mix on the Ensemble.

I think is perfect for the tone you search ;)

dude, i just registered here to thank you for this amazing patch. i've been trying to copy this amp on the b3 for months now and got pretty close but the settings you used for the bassdrive gave me what i needed to nail it! thank you so very very much!

Anytime dude...I'm glad the patch worked out for you.

Fantastic job keeping this alive and going, its really like you are exercising an additional functionality of the B3! I just picked one up myself yesterday and only had time enough to run through the factory presets and am dying to try my hand at creating some of my own :)
Again, great stuff!

What would be your approach to recreating this bass tone Crystalman? OzzyGreg ?
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

His bass tone for the first 1-2 minutes is divine!

Sounds like some pretty strong lows. try using the bass preamp model with the bottom b and some compression and see how it works out for you. or if you own a bass with bartolini pick-ups, try using the acoustic amp model with the m comp model.

Here's a new patch idea I came up with. This patch has a smooth warm overdrive overdrive that's almost similar to a fuzzrocious dark driving.

Dark distortion

Section 1: limiter: Thresh: 20, ratio: 4, level: 100, release: 5

Section 2: Bass bb: Gain: 17, bass: 3, treble: -2, blend: 45, level: 90

Section 3: Monotone: Bass: 4, mid: 3, treble: 0, midfq: 300hz, gain: 50, level: 90, character: Dark, cab: ag1x15, mix: 50
