Actually it's crystalman and I'm glad the patch helped you out. I'm a metal bassist myself and distortion patches is my specialty. I also do other patches that's useful for many different genres. Thanks for giving patch a try.

Yes, I'm going back through this entire thread because I've just got a B3 (good ol' Santa!).

Loved this one - I put a 4-Phaser as the Slot 1 option: Rate: 15; Reso: 2; Level: 100; Low cut: 200hz. Nice option to switch to.

I loaded crystalmans VMT patch and used it last night at my New Years gig. It sounded awesome! Just enough grit to thicken and make my tone dirty but not too crazy. I have had the hardest time with selecting and using overdrives and this one is perfect! Definitely getting the actual pedal this year

I have had this bad boy about 18 months now and only used it to rehearse at home. A buddy of mine made me an offer on my GB Shuttle 9.0 I didn't want to turn down so I decided to use the B3 through a power amp into my cab for a while... I installed the edit and share and wiped out almost all the presets...
I loaded each amp model in adjacent banks to to start playing around...either I am deaf or many of the models sound the same until you start turning the dials....am I crazy or correct?

Here's a new patch I came up with. this patch has a warm, naturally compressed preamp sound with solid lows and clear highs.

Mega bass boost 2

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 20, ratio: 4, level: 90, attack: 7

Section 2: Bottom b: Bass: 4, treble: 5, level: 50

Section 3: ac bs pre: gain: 50, depth: 7, level: 90, bass: 2, l-mid: 3. lm_f: 400hz, mid: 0, h_mid: 2, treble: 3
