Zoom b3 patch Ideas

I am hoping someone can help me with a patch to emulate this tone because I am clueless. Not only am I clueless, but I feel as though I am fighting an uphill battle since my P is strung with flats and I’ll be playing my MTD ZX loaded with Barts. This tone is far from what I usually use, but would be a nice one to have in the back pocket – particularly for my gigging band which covers a lot of genres. The bass is best heard at 0:37 and 2:10. At church, where I will be playing this song, I play through a pretty sophisticated PA system with subs included (though I monitor through an SWR WorkingPro 12). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds to me like the sound came from a p bass. other than that, try the fender bassman model or the swr model with the hartke 4x10 cab model. roll back on the treble a little bit and boost the lows and mids a little bit and see how it works out for you.

Some of those patches were created by famous bass players like David ellefson and Frankie bello. But yeah, titaniumrx and I would make great patches for zoom processors.

Here's a new patch I came up with. this patch has a smooth and heavy sound with tube-emulated compression.

Bass distortion master 2

Section 1: bassdrive: bass: 3, treble: 4, presence: 3, gain: 50, blend: 70, level: 90, mid: 7

Section 2: squeak: gain: 50, tone: 25, level: 100, balance: 18

Section 3: flip top: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 5, midfq: 300hz, gain: 40, level: 90, ultra: low, cab: ag1x15, mix: 50

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch is similar to bass distortion master 2, only it has the boss metal zone model for a smooth metallic distortion sound.

Section 1: bassdrive: bass: 3, treble: 4, presence: 3, gain: 50, blend: 70, level: 90, mid: 7

Section 2: metalwrld: gain: 70, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 18

The problem to share patches is the chain either before the B3 or after. Your amp, your bass being passive or active, etc... I found your shared patches way too loud with a lot of noise so, I needed to tweak a lot to get them to work. After some work I'm keeping the Dave Ellefson sound like patch so, thanks.

I use a passive 1980 vantage bass with P pickups into the B3 run directly into the front of my Carvin pro bass 300

I took the Crystalman's patch idea "Metal bassman" and made another one,like Steve Harris Precision bass sound.
This patch sounds exactly like this signature Steve Harris Precision in this video.

I use a p bass,Ernie ball nickel strings,volume and tone 100%.You must use a studio monitors to sound like this with my patch.If you use an amp,please change the EQ of your amp accordingly.
If you want to change the sound to your likes,alter only the Depth of the AcBs and the gain and Balance of the MetalWRLD,leave the B-man unchanged.

Here is the Patch "Steve Harris"

AcBcPre = Gain:60 , Depth:8 , Level:100 , Bass:0 , L-mid:-2 , Lm_F:800hz , Mid:-3 ,H-Mid:3 , Trebl:2
MetalWORLD= Gain:4 , Tone:50 , Level:100 , Bal:20
B-man= Bass:4 , Mid:4 , Trebl:5 , Mid_F:300Hz , Gain:40 , Level:50 , Deep:Off , Cab:1x15 AG , Mix:50

The volume is allmost in unity level with the raw sound of your bass,if the global level and patch level of the B3 is at 100.
