I think the Zoom passed the test, such a great pedal, and I have upgraded it to my main board, it will serve as phaser and some delays for now, and something else that I can come up with in the future.

That would be a great place to start! The Glam and the 1073 were two of my favorites when I had the B+.I managed to kludge together some Apple adapters to get my old iPad talking to my new Zoom MS-60B+. So that's one small step for a bassist, one giant blow to Apple's 2024 donglopoly revenueThanks all for helping me troubleshoot the issue (which was, as you suspected, that I'd bought a power adapter cable and not a data cable).
Now: I'm trying to recreate the sound of a good old rock and roll Ampeg SVT, using this pedal, a FRFR clean amp and a FRFR cabinet. Can anyone share their experience of which compressor, preamp and amp/cab settings I could use to achieve this?
(My guess would be the Glam Compressor into a 1073 preamp and then the AMPGSVT? But I'm just starting out with this pedal, and so I may be way off in these guesses.)
Thanks as always for any advice.
@Zoot H Rollo How do feel about the opus compared to the zoom? Too similar? Complimentary? I have to imagine the opus sounds better, how capable/comparable are the zoom pre's/amps/cabs on their own?
i use the MS-60B+ for the bass amps (no cabs)
i use the Opus for Dyn-IR CABS, power amps, post processing AND ESPECIALLY the balanced XLR output.
i don't use the Opus preamps.
2 PEDAL FULL RIG, XLR to FOH and separate 1/4" to stage amp.
i use the MS-60B+ for the bass amps (no cabs)
I thought the zoom amp+cab sims were tied at the hip? Does the cabinet level adjust the balance between pre amp and cabinet, or amp+cab and your dry signal? Any particular reason to not use opus pre, or just happened to find one you like more in zoom? I appreciate your insight!
Hello everyone. I have a question:
The instruction manual states, that "ZOOM AD-16 AC" should be used to power the device. Is that necessary or should be good to go with any other 9V power supply?

The power supply should have a standard 2.1mm connector. It should be TIP-NEGATIVE. The output amps should be 500mA or greater (more output amps is fine, but a lower number is not fine).
IMPORTANT: the MS-60B+ and others in this series have a recessed power jack. This means that the plug end CAN'T be a right angle, it also means that the plastic housing around plug can't be too wide (thick).
there's both a HPF and a LPF. The low EQ can be set as a HPF, while the High EQ can be set as a LPF. And yes, you can set the HPF to 30 Hz.Hello everyone,
I want to set up my a high-pass filter at 30Hz on my MS-60B+. Can this device do this? All was able to find was the low shelf EQ.
I recently got a B3. I know I'm late to the Zoom thing. I am having a lot of fun. I have a problem now, adjusting too much.
Terrific, thanks!there's both a HPF and a LPF. The low EQ can be set as a HPF, while the High EQ can be set as a LPF. And yes, you can set the HPF to 30 Hz.
How do you like tha Superego+?I think the Zoom passed the test, such a great pedal, and I have upgraded it to my main board, it will serve as phaser and some delays for now, and something else that I can come up with in the future.
