Zoom MS-60B+ (a compact B2-Four?)

will use the Hotone Ampero II Stage to capture the amps and DynIRs from my MS60B+ and Opus.

Price went down to $99, so picked one up. Really liking it so far, and sounded quite nice both in-ear and through amps at practice.

So far, I've just added the Low EQ (HPF) and the ZNR to the Clear Preamp and the Dark Preamp defaults, and am working on getting a nice synth dialed in (for ZZ Top TV Dinners...) It's nice to just plug this in and smile over at the guitarist's 57-pedal mess. I have a gig this Friday, and I'll give this a good trial solo run.

Anybody have favorite chains and setups to share? What's your baseline tone?

I'm digging the simplicity and availability of sounds for now. My setting is with an acoustic guitar / vocalist adding bass and additional textures going straight to mixer or powered speaker. My main chain is Monotone > 160 > Brite room. I have patches that add detune, chorus, slow flanger, octaver and on one song the harmonizer. I will at some point add a pedal for strings and pads most likely the Boss SY200.

Main patch right now is pretty simple DarkPreamp -> LPF -> ZNR and last gig, it was like someone took a blanket off my amps, just fantastic. I split it out and sent an SVT sound to the DI and I am very pleased so far.

I'm quite unfamiliar with synth sounds, so I'm still experimenting with getting something useable for some ZZ Top, but I'm optimistic this unit is going to be able to be my main super-simple fly rig for quite a while. I was a bit worried about accidentally sending it spinning across the stage if I wasn't careful with the cable, and I'm not going to get a whole pedalboard setup for one pedal, (although maybe velcroing it to a heavy cutting board could suffice).

This little set up is perfect for my clamp on pedal tray for practice and gigs with a singer songwriter thing I am currently doing. Don't need a lot of efx so the 160/Monotone/room verb are the perfect tasty tones. I do add the occasional detune or chorus. The Pedaltronics DIm Stick is perfect for sending FOH, PA or the occasional back line. The T-Core power bank is plenty for the MS60B+, iPad Air 2 and Zoom Q2HD.

Really good rehearsal yesterday w new 60+ and 70+. P w pick and e-cello. 5 or so presets for 3 orig song sets. More to come.

For pop-rock, I settled on the Trace amp fronted by the zoom clean pre-, followed by avalon DI.
Last nite different band rehearsal (busy bassists!) Fliptop ultra low on turned our affordable floor monitors into low-B happy clear thump. There’s voodoo happening here.

I thought the new MS60b+ would replace the old MS 60b but they work great together.

I’m thinking of flashing the old one to become a CDR.

10 effect slots in two pedals is pretty efficient use of space.
The MS70 has a broad selection of effects for all instruments, many more modulations, reverbs and delays. I use my old MS70CDR with my synth set up.

I think they expect people to not have those older tablets anymore as most are not supported by Apple anymore. And every recent Ipad already comes with a USB-C connection and charging cable, which also transmits data.

If you happen to already have the old 'camera kit', which is Lighting to USB-A and transmits data, you can make do with any data-sending usb-A>C cable. Be it from Amazon or any other store.
Otherwise, you'll have to see what's cheaper: Either the camera kit with any USB-A >C cable that can send data or the Apple lightning to USB-C extension. As the camera kit is ancient tech by now it might be cheaper to take that route.

That said, while it's useful to have it attached to an ipad or iphone because of the faster interface, there's nothing you can't do without the app, except for having a patch pool to store presets you don't want or can't have on your device. But you can do that even in a windows text file and write down your settings.
Is there any confirmed adapters that work besides the $40 official apple one? I am in the same boat, as the USB C to Lightning cable I bought today doesn't work. It is supposed to transmit data, but the app doesn't recognize that the pedal is connected.

I have 2 different ones from Amazon that work fine, be sure it is "MFI Certified".
Good basic one:

I am able to connect a power bank to power my Zoom MS60B+ and iPad Air 2 and access the SD card for memory with the one below but it is no longer available but there may be similar ones:

Perhaps this one
