... Does any of you use the B2.1u in the same way? What are your impressions? ...

Zoom B2 is the anchor of my pedal board using the Bassman model on most patches into a GK MB500.
I have a b3 on the way
Hi CharlieC,
I have been following with great interest your thread and the info you are sharing in there is great! Actually I didn't post my impression there because I was curious about other players with the B2.1u been used as I do.
I have a question for you: I have been thinking about ditching the Ashdown Mag300 for a Crown xls1000 as you do. Since I saw you thread this GAS is growing however I don't know anything about Power Amps.
Now I understand the crown gives 220 watts per channel at 8ohms. I currently have two 410 at 8ohms that with the Mag give me 300watts. In case I swapp the Mag head for the Crown does that mean I would have 440watts in total???
The Mag gives me 175 at 8ohms and the full 300 with 2 of 8 (as I have).
Another question is whether the B2.1u would be ok to drive the Crown as so does the B3.
I appreciate your time and if you think we should repost my question on your thread too for the others members, let me know!
Thanks, Nick!
^ I've been thinking of doing the exact same thing.
Hi Nick, I run it in line actually have an efx loop before the Zoom B2 which for me it is an always on effect that I also use as a mute and tuner.Hi Bassbrad,
Do you run it in line or in the FX Loop?
Do you think it changes the final sound running it in different ways?
Cheers!

I have never tried it a loop.
