Fender Rumble Club

I've got the vintage Brown (Palomino) Nubtex and I have both the Wheat and Oxblood grill cloth. Seeing the cream versions is making me think, maybe I could refinish my R40, or get the R25 that someone is selling locally. Should I refinish one with Brown and Oxblood? How about Brown with Wheat? (That would look like my Brown Princeton.) I might get some of the Vanilla (Cream) Nubtex with either grill cloth.

Arrgg! I've got too many projects open right now to think about this stuff!
Sounds just like what I had for breakfast.

I suggest more Rumbling and less rambling ... j/k ... DSFDF!

I tend to slightly prefer the classic Fender look, but I also like the stealth Black with Black!

I also really dig the studio40 looks. Maybe I'd get some black corners once. Who knows, right? :)

Famous Music Store Sign:
"No more bloody 'Smoke On the Water'"!

Actually, I do like Deep Purple!

Not Rumbles, but ...

Bag End S15L-N - 'N' is for Nebula.
Nebula's awesome. One of my favorite parts of the MCU Infinity War arc was when Tony and Nebula were stuck together on the spaceship, trapped far from home. I think they were good for each other.
I suppose that's a different Nebula. Different color scheme at any rate.
And yeah, Deep Purple is great. But I get the sentiment at music stores!
Had a 50W purple Orange combo been available when I was first looking at Rumbles, I might have gone that route. But it wasn't, the Rumble sounded great and came highly recommended, so here we are!

A buddy of mine in the last couple years swapped over to bass from guitar. He has the Glen Hughes 50 and bass. He really likes them.

Since 2017 I have been using my expensive TUKI amp covers for carting/gigging traveling etc. Beautiful cushioned covers for the Rumble Combo 500 amp and the 115 ext. cab and cost a couple hundred AU dollars, but when protecting a rig worth a couple thousand AU$ i consider that money well spent.

These days (start of 2025) I have forgone a lot of gigs for peace and quiet (said the LOUD Aussie bass player) and a break from gigging and I keep my Fender Rumble rig setup in the lounge room to the side of the telly (TV for you Americans lolll) for when I wanna really upset the neighbours (neighbors for the Americans loll).
Because of less use now I recently opted for a less expensive set of covers and purchased the Fender branded vinyl covers for the Rumble 500 amp and 115 cab....not as pretty as my Tuki set but functional, and the reason I decided to purchase them is because my wife and I sit in the lounge room surrounded by amps and 7 basses etc etc., and we often carry in with us open glasses of drinks (beer, stout, cordial, soft drinks (soda for the Americans loll) and I live in fear of myself or my wife stumbling or tripping over in our drunken old age loll and glasses of liquid hurtling towards the Rumble 115 cab and Rumble 500 amp ruining the speakers (I also have a Rumble 25 and Rumble 40 to consider in view of liquid damage)...so I cover my larger Rumbles (500 and 115) with the Fender vinyl covers instead of the expensive Tuki covers.
The reason being that they are vinyl and easy to wipe off if such an accident occurred and would probably save my marriage, if it was the wife who dropped her glass of beer.
Just an observation from a bass player and Mrs Bass Player who love a tipple (alco drink for the Americans) before dinner-time every day....as The Good Book says (verse 1 Timothy 5:23) "take a glass of wine for thy stomach's sake - and watch out for spillage towards thy Fender equipment."
Moral of the story...keep your amps and cabs covered when drinking anywhere near the vicinity of musical equipment at home, and when gigging keep drunks off the stage and do NOT use your amp as a bar-top to place your bottles or cups of drinks. Your rig is part of your musical life and an electric bass guitar is useless without it. Protect it and look after it.

Wisdom.
I’ve heard too many stories to set a drink down on an amp.

Not to mention Rumbles love to rumble. Even bottles/glasses with drinks in them! Be careful out there!

The only thing that I DO NOT like about the Fender covers! There is no pocket to put the chord. Even Line 6 does that. Your nice covers have a pocket as well!

Yep..the Tuki covers are well made and give you a choice of how many pockets you want and where placed on the cover as well. I chose mine to be front placement. Anyway the Fender covers are only intended for home use..i can trip over all my cables in the same room anytime I want loll

I used to be on a chat program many many years ago called Paltalk, where you needed to wear a headset and mic so you could chat in your private room with the people you invited in. They also had open mic clubs like this one where you could chat to as many who wanted to chime in one at a time. I ran my own room called One Stop Trivia and as owner I had to employ a couple moderators to keep order or take over if I wasnt there. lol.
It has occurred to me many times - I wonder what it would be like if TB employed audio into its program. I can hear the chaos now lollll It really would live up to it's name then..TALK Bass. Oh the pandemonium lollll
