Two Notes Le Bass Players Club

That's a great review, he really understood the whole concept and made very good use of the device ! And he actually puts his finger on exactly why we did what we did for many years, before we designed Le Bass : high quality, highly tweakable speaker cabinet simulation. Because at the end of the...

Actually, we kept the same knobs but replaced the small "carved" line by a bolder painted white line. This almost doesn't change the look of the preamp but still makes the pots more legible. It's still not as clear as the kind of plastic knob posted just above, but it's definitively nicer :)

The PDF version is obsolete, it should have been deleted actually. I'll check on that.

    Pedal board power supply question

You can have a look at this article about this : Invalid Link Removed Most of the Cioks PSUs have 400mA outputs that are actually able to output more than that, provided the rest of the PSU is not overloaded. Same goes for the 1Spot pro.

Indeed, we got almost only bad feedbacks from the combination of these power supplies and Le Bass. At the moment, we would suggest to use something else.

The pots have standard 6mm D-shaped shafts, so if you look for alternatives, you should find many :) BTW, we slightly modified the knobs on the newest production to address this issue.

I'm not sure I understand your question about the price. Le Bass comes with its own power supply ;) Le Bass can be used as a tube OD/distortion if you want, yes :)

The embedded Spkr Sim is actually based on a blend of the famoux "Fridge" 8x10 cabinet and an also famous "Alu XL" 4x10. Huge low end, massive low mids, and clear, bright trebles.

Two Notes Le Bass Preamp, When Does it Ship???

These pedalboards were set up by our US distributor, I don't have much more information about them. You can ask your question here, our distributor is monitoring the forum and may answer you : Invalid Link Removed

Two Notes Le Bass Preamp, When Does it Ship???

The form factor is the result of huge hesitations and deliberations. Initially, we would have preferred to have it in the same form factor as the CAB, but there was other concerns involved. The fact that the speaker sim is absent from the 1/4 jack out is mostly due to the fact that this would...

Two Notes Le Bass Preamp, When Does it Ship???

These power supplies are different ;) You can have a look here for more information : Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed The most important thing is that the CAB can work with a range of voltages (12 to 15V), whereas Le Bass needs exactly 12V ;) Plus the difference in current consumption.

Post your Two Notes Le Bass and C.A.B. configurations!

Regarding how to build a sound, my advice would be to start with everything at noon (with an Arcade preset on the CAB), set the gain and levels (don't forget that the Power Amp in the CAB can distort, set it colder if needed or even turn it off maybe), and find a cabinet and microphone you like...

Post your Two Notes Le Bass and C.A.B. configurations!

You can note that this advice is only relevant for a very specific point : so you can use the DI Output of Le bass ;) If you look at the block diagram of Le bass, you'll see that the Return jack is directly connected to the output jack (through the bypass relay). So putting the CAB at the end...

Two Notes Le Bass Preamp, When Does it Ship???

This is all about how you decide to look at them :) On a standard EQ (not a preamp, only an EQ, a Boss GE-7 for example), it is easy to define what "zero" is : at zero, your tone is unafected. But in a preamp, the overall tone is changed, no matter how the EQ is set. I mean, it's the basic...
