Indeed, we got almost only bad feedbacks from the combination of these power supplies and Le Bass. At the moment, we would suggest to use something else.
You should write to the guys at Two Notes, they will answer you. As far as PU supplies, I followed CharlieC's advice and bought a One Spot Pro CS7. I did not have time to hook it up yet but it seems to be a good way to go!
+1 for the One spot Pro CS7. Works perfectly and super quiet.
Just when I thought I had settled-in with Channel A, I have now jumped the fence back to Channel B. The tube grit there is outstanding with just the right little push to break-up and some basic EQ! No other dirt pedals required.

The CS7 would be a good option, but I find it too large (5cm h) for my compact board. Guess I'll give it some time and go for a CIOKS supply.

To me the built-in cab sim is too dark, too. Especially when playing fingerstyle.

Possibly this. I had it for a while.... sold it though due to lack of space on my board. Had some good sounds though. NPD DSM Noisemaker OmniCabSim
However, I did not find a place to try it in Europe, which is a bummer. As you name it, the footprint might be a stopper, too.
How usable are 'guitar' cab simulator on bass, anyways?
You should check out the previous pages of this thread. Anything that can deliver 500mA @12V should do. The Truetone CS7 ot CS12 are good options. For myself I am planning to use one with a CIOKS supply. For some reason the Le Preamps don't get along with T-Rex supplies.
Also check out the support page of Two Notes, they provide a list with suggested powersupplies.

Something odd here: I tried building my small "preamp" board (Le Bass, CAB, FEA DE-CL Comp, Shure GLXD-16 wireless powered by a Truetone CS7). The LeBass would not work under 12 V. but is working great under 9 volts 500Ma. I just don't get it...But it works (and sounds out of this world through my brand new IEM: Shure SE 846!!!)
I checked the Two Note site, and notice something odd: the suggested power supplies are different on the French pdf and the English one... Very weird... Is there a reason for this difference?

What I do know is that the list has been adapted some weeks ago. The suggested T-Rex powersupplies have been removed as they received bad results with them in combination with the Le Preamps.
There is a PDF on the french side of the FAQ listing the suggested power supply units. The list given is quite different...
