Went into GC Hollywood Saturday and they had a Lakland they labeled a 44-02 for $999.99. I played it, sound good, played killer, but I think it is a 44-94. I thought it was 2008 as well for alnico. I reached out to EBMM support and they told me it shipped with Alnico. Yours is a beauty as well!

Finally added a 5HH to the collection, in Honey Burst. 2007 model that EBMM says was shipped with Alnico pups.

It is a solid instrument. The sound is all Duff, especially when you run both pickups. The hipshot has been great, had to adjust it a bit when I put new strings on it, but from then it keeps that D ready and in tune.

I finally joined the club with a BFR from Sweetwater. This is the sound I have been looking for!

It is a bass ramp and gives me more positions to anchor my thumb when playing with my fingers. I found a gentleman on eBay that was making them a few years back.

GC has it priced at $299.99. I don't take their pricing as 100% accurate as I have bought plenty of things from them that were mis-priced. As for it being stickers, that would be hilarious. My buddy has been buying and selling guitars for 25+ years so that would be a great target for me...
