My wife has the same bass but lefthanded. Its lovely. Wish I was ambidextrous enough to play it. She should play it more.

Ha ha, I run into that dude at EVERY show I go to here in Tempe. Super friendly guy, always a good hang. Haven't listened to any of his podcasts though, maybe I should.

Hex Volt is my main thing these days. Bass-drums two-piece. More of a noise-punk, garage-metal type of thing than Stoner or doom, but plenty of low end fuzz and grind for ya hexvolt.bandcamp.com I biamp. I triamp. As many amps as I can fit. I'm polyamporous.

I use a BYOC Large Beaver I built, it a rotary knob to select EQ mode - Scoop (EH stock), Flat, Mid-bump, or OFF. OFF is the only setting. Everything else sounds so dim and limp in comparison. OFF is huge. You literally get ALL the tone. Highs, mids, thundering lows. Yeah, i am definitely...

Band w/ a guitarist and/or wife = at least some Drama Band w/ neither = No Drama just my personal experience. to be fair, when the wife is involved, _I'm_ the guitarist, so.. not casting blame on either in particular :)

I do the former, I like it better that way. Yeah this is nearly exactly what I do, except I only use the octave-up as an accent, not an always-on. I actually run three rigs in parallel, one "bass", two "guitar". I hacked my bass (squier PJ) so the P pickup and the bridge pickup have...

Just pulled the trigger to have a local dude build me a Sunn 2000s cabinet clone. Yee haw. Haven't decided on drivers. Right now I'm leaning Eminence 3015. Go with neo to soften the basic big-unwieldiness of the cab itself? Maybe the weight savings just be enough to allow me to huck it in an...

Love my Ibanez Weeping Demon (WD7) wah. range and depth of the wah effect is very configurable. You can dial in whatever volume boost / loss you want. You can set it to activate when you step on the pedal, or it can be activated with a footswitch off to the side and left cocked in whatever...
