i have one of those. I use it for one of my bands because of its look and sound. It is so heavy and the controls are a nightmare. It sounds okay but sort of thin.

I just tried a Traynor SB200h. It sounded nice but I am baffled by the fact that there is no master volume. I can't buy an amp with no volume control. Can you clarify this?

I am crazy about Traynor Mono Block II heads. They sound so good when you crank the gain. I recently tried the Traynor SB200h which sounded good but there was no master volume, just gain. I really don't understand it.

I have a t-40. I got it about three years ago. It is so heavy. It never comes out if the case. Not only is it heavy, it does not sound great.

Did you manage to switch out the pickups? I have an Epi tbird pro. It really sucks. I want to pull all active stuff and put in nice sounding passive stuff. The trouble is that it seems to have a proprietary pickup shape. I am curious about trying a set of Deep Sixx pickups but I am not sure if...

Obviously it comes down to the fact that it is a personal choice. We can go back and forth on this but people will do what they do. It is okay if you don't want to drink a couple beers or smoke a bit of weed and it is okay as you do. As long as you aren't driving the van.

You could get a really nice high end Yamaha BB for those kind of bucks. I know it isn't on you list, but I love my Yamaha. I keep trying to switch to different basses but I keep coming back to the Yamaha because it is so comfortable and sounds so good.

I use this amp too! I love it. I have one that works and one they needs repairs. These things are hard to come by these days. I know a bass player in Ottawa who is sitting in four if them. If you see it buy it!!
